Kitesurfing or kiteboarding is a surface water sport that uses wind power to pull a rider through the water on a small surfboard or a kiteboard (similar to a wakeboard). Generally kiteboarding refers to a style of riding known as freestyle or wake-style, whereas kite-surfing is more "wave-riding" oriented. These two styles usually require different boards and specific performance kites.
Due to Kite-surfing being reserved for large bodies of water like the Sea the ability to simulate conditions at a cable park enables the rider to practice tricks and Kite-boarding without the travel and risk of poor conditions, the conditions are always perfect at Liquid Leisure, ideal for those inner city dwellers!
Using the 'load' achieved by the tension from the cable the Kite surfer/boarder can perform similar airial tricks and practice there technique without travelling to the coast and relying on the weather.
See the cable section to find out more and prices.
