Trick skiing is performed using one or two very short skis rather than the conventional ski. In it, skiers try to perform tricks somewhat similar to those of gymnasts while being pulled along by th ski boat.
Tricks to be learnt range from a Side Slide to a Back Flip and then more difficultly toe tricks, which are performed with one of foot in a tow strap on the handle.
In competition tricks are judged by the difficulty of the trick performed and the accuracy of execution during a timed run and points are awarded for each successful trick.
